It is with great pleasure, that we invite you to our second autumn tasting.

A significant climate disruption, 2021 has been rough on the winemakers to the very end. The late and devastating frost in the spring greatly impacted the harvest, causing serious damage throughout the vineyard, mainly to the Chardonnays whose buds were ahead of the Pinot Noir. Misfortune would continue to the very end with a strong pressure of mildew by the end of August, leading to further losses of 50 to 100%…

There is cause for joy, as Frédéric Drouhin would later say, “Small is Beautiful.” The very low yield concentrated the surviving grapes and delivered wines with precise and remarkable aromatics. A vintage full of emotion where the vintners’ nerves have been severely tested. 2021 is also marked by numerous blended vintages “round cuvées” to compensate for volumes often too low to be vinified separately.

We are reconnecting with brilliant and precise whites, full of energy and made for keeping. The Pinot Noirs are seductive, with lightly colored “very Pinot” robes and great aromatic depth.

They are making their big comeback! Many winemakers will travel for this occasion. Don’t miss their visit.

Tasting 2021 & co… From 2021 to 2014. Other vintages will be rediscovered during the tasting.

The Chablis region, the Grand Auxerrois, the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune, the Côte Chalonnaise, the Maconnais & Beaujolais will be honored. Over 170 wines to discover, including many prestigious grand crus.
